Elk Shaman, Copper, 30' H x 18' W Front View: The blue patina represents the sky and water. There is a replica of an elk petroglyph on the front of the shaman. The beadwork is bone and antler with turquoise nuggets and shell beads. The head is stone with copper antlers. The staff is coiled representing the circle of life and is adorned with beadwork. Back View: The copper is heated and tarnished to resemble the mountains and landscape the elk live in with the ever-present sun in the shape of a spiral represents the circle of life.
